Lisa + Leo apparel line was created by Lisa + Leo, a couple with professional design backgrounds in architecture, interior design and landscape architecture.  Lisa + Leo have been together for over 30 years and indeed, like their tag line, feel naturally good together.  They have chosen to add this custom line of organic apparel to their portfolio in order to expand their passion for great design and their commitment to environmental sustainability. The clothing reflects their views of modern design by incorporating clean, naturally flowing lines to create classic pieces made of the finest, softest fibers. Lisa + Leo sources globally, cultivates locally and strives to minimize impact on environmental resources.

About Our Fabrics
Viscose from organic bamboo blended with organic cotton is an innovative textile that represents an alternative to other luxury fabrics.

Texture:

The blend feels similar to silk or cashmere and is softer than the most refined cotton.

Comfort and Breathability:

Our blend naturally wicks moisture away from the skin keeping you cooler, drier and more comfortable throughout your day.  Our clothing will not cling to the skin even in the hottest of days and hardest of workouts.

Environmental Impact:

Bamboo is a tropical grass and does not require pesticides, insecticides or fertilizers to grow.  In fact, bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants in the world with some species growing as much as 4 feet per day and reaching maturity in as little as 3 to 4 years.
Bamboo is naturally regenerative and 100% biodegradable, making bamboo a renewable resource for our planet.  And compared to a stand of commercial trees, bamboo absorbs five times more greenhouse gases and produces 35% more oxygen.
Our Bamboo:  Lisa + Leo viscose from bamboo is fabricated from Moso bamboo, one of over 1200 bamboo species and one of the most prevalent in China.  The Moso species is not a food staple for pandas.
